Parallel connection: Many whole house filter can be mounted arbitrarily in parallel. The final filter achievement can be thereby raised by multiple. Example: 10 pieces of whole house filter IL 9 "Pacific" = 30 million litres of final filter achievement. Should the need in filtered water increase in the course of the time, a postarmament of the filter devices or enlargement is possible any time.
Backwash: Backwash of the whole house filter devices once or twice a year to raise the final filter achievement up to 50%. Besides, both prefilter and postfilter pads are renewed and the filters backwashed or purged. The backwash is able to occur by turning round the filter or automatically through the backwash device. Attention: The whole house filter devices must be installed before the hot-water preparation.
Important information:
With these filters never filter hot water, because they become useless immediately. The carbon filters can be used only for water up to the temperature of max. 24 °C.
The consumption given in each case concerning the final filter achievement refers in each case on an average 2-person household.
The water hardness always should be measured. If the water is harder than 25 ° dH a water decalcification device should be used before the drinking water filter.
Salt cannot be filtered. For salty water it is advisable to use a desalination device before the drinking water filter of Aguaris.
