High-capacity drinking water filter: a combination of 3 special filters

 

The modern and unique water filter technology of high-capacity drinking water filters allows producing of the purest, healthy water in spring water quality.

 

1. Filter: KDF ® filter systems: special, patented filter technology

  (KDF ® = Kinetic Degradation Fluxion, patents in the USA)

 

KDF exists of highly pure, granular copper alloys and zinc alloys. The water becomes processed on base of an electro-chemical reaction (based on the principle of the "redox reaction") and is cleaned.

In the chemistry oxidation means electron delivery, reduction means electron admission. During this reduction of oxidation injurious substances and pollutions are converted for the human being into harmless substances. Copper and zinc are apropiate particularly for the elimination of inorganic impurities.

 

Chlorine is highly noxious, even cancer-causing. Chlorine is converted by the KDF in safe, water-dissolvable chloride. Also heavy metals (lead, mercury, nickel, chrome, iron and other metals) which react with the alloy of the filter surface are removed from the water.

 

Microorganisms are destroyed: First: the exchange of electrons in the redox reaction creates an electrolytic field that most microorganisms can’t survive. Second: KDF filter media may catalyze the formation of radicals and peroxides in certain circumstances. The radicals can interfere with microorganisms’ ability to function. Besides, the oxidation means work like a disinfectant.

 

KDF filters function only most eficient if they are used together with activated carbon filters.

2. Filter: Activated carbon coal from high-quality coconut palm bowl

 

Activated carbon filters are efficient systems to the water treatment. In the activated carbon filter the water flows by layers of granular activated carbon particles. This activated carbon is treated with oxygen, so that millions of small pores are formed between the carbon atoms. Hence, the gigantic surface area of activated carbon provides for countless connection places, and in this manner chemicals are absorbed like trihalogenmethane, fluorides and impurities which are in the water.   

 

If pollutants pass the carbon particles, these are taken up there and are "enclosed". Minerals as for example magnesium, calcium or potassium are not removed. Activated carbon filter systems need no electricity, but function by hydraulic pressure. After the acquisition of the filter result no other costs, like for servicing, device defects or electricity. They have an extremely high final filter achievement, i.e. life span. One should not let go hot water by an activated carbon-filter system. The coal particle get lumpy, thereby form the canals by which water runs unfiltered. The filter is defective.

 

What is an absorbation process?

Activated carbon filters use a chemical absorbation process which is the only known filtration process which can filter selectively impurities from the drinking water. Such systems need no energy source except the hydraulic pressure, which is why they operate at a reasonable price. All in all, these filter systems are efficient systems to the water treatment.
